Cucumber 'Armenian'
Armenian Cucumbers are actually a type of melon that produces long green fruits which when eaten when young taste and have the texture of cucumbers. 7 to 11 weeks to harvest. Each packet contains 25 seeds.
Cucumber 'Beit Alpha'
Beit Alpha is a Lebanese-type heirloom cucumber with a thin skin and delicious crisp and sweet, mild flavour. Best picked young at their most tender, although the seeds will stay soft even if left to grow larger. Burpless. Vigorous with high yields. Good variety for warmer climates. 25 seeds per packet.
Cucumber 'Crystal Apple'
Crystal Apple is a sweet, mild and crisp, rounded cucumber which grows to the size of a small apple and makes an excellent snack, skin and all. 11 to 12 weeks to harvest. Each packet contains 25 seeds.
Cucumber 'Lemon'
Lemon Cucumber vines produce large quantities of small round cucumbers, the ideal size for a single servings of salad or for eating straight off the vine as a snack. Skin is pale lemon in colour and free of bitterness. Each packet contains 25 seeds
Cucumber 'Long White'
Long White is a heirloom variety that produces long slicing cucumbers with thin white skin that has no bitterness. Flesh is firm, crisp and sweet. Best flavour and texture when picked up to 18cm long. This variety is resistant to downy mildew and tolerates high heat. 25 seeds per packet.
Cucumber 'Marketmore'
Marketmore is a prolific open-pollinated cucumber variety with bumpy, dark green fruits to 20cm long. Flavour is mild, sweet and crispy. Each packet contains 25 heirloom seeds.
Cucumber 'Muncher Burpless'
Cucumber 'Muncher Burpless' is a prolific Lebanese-type variety which can be eaten skin and all, delicious and no bitterness. Each packet contains 25 seed.
Cucumber 'Painted Serpent'
Painted Serpent produces long fruit with attractive alternating dark and pale green ridges. As an Armenian type cucumber, this cucumber is actually a variety of melon with the taste and texture of a cucumber. Thin skined with an excellent flavour but best eaten young for superior crunch. Each packet contains 15 seeds.
Cucumber 'Poinsett'
Poinsett is a traditional heirloom cucumber with long, dark green, crisp fruits that are excellent for slicing. Highly productive variety. Good resistance to diseases including powdery mildew. Suitable for planting in warmer climates. 10 to 11 weeks to harvest. 25 seeds per packet.
Cucumber 'Richmond River Green'
Richmond River Green is an apple-type heirloom cucumber bred in Australia. Produces round, green-skinned cucumbers with delicious, crisp white flesh. Pick when young, about 10cm long, if left to fully mature they'll grow huge but seedy. 25 seeds per packet.
Cucumber 'Straight Eight'
Straight Eight is a heirloom slicing cucumber with green bumpy skin and crisp white flesh. This variety is named for its near perfectly straight cucumbers, especially when they're grown on a trellis so they can freely hang downwards. This cucumber is best picked up to 20cm long to retain its excellent flavour and texture. 25 seeds per packet.
Gherkin 'National Pickling'
National Pickling is a heirloom gherkin variety that can be pickled sliced or whole, or even eaten raw. Short, bumpy fruits. Good resistance to downy and powdery mildews. Vigorous, long producing vines. Produces earlier than cucumbers. 25 seeds per packet.
Mexican Sour Gherkin
A taste sensation, Mexican sour gherkins are the size of grapes with a slightly sour cucumber flavour. They make a great, healthy, bite-sized snack. Vine is pest resistant and drought tolerant. Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.
