Purple Beauty Capsicum can be used chopped and cooked in stir-fries, added to pizza or added raw to salads.
When To Sow
Sow Capsicum 'Purple Beauty' anytime of the year in the tropics and subtropics. In temperate regions of Australia sow from September to November as soon as the weather warms up.
How To Sow
Sow Purple Beauty Capsicum seeds 6mm deep, spacing each seed about 45cm apart to allow plenty of room for the Capsicum bushes to grow.
Germination Time
Capscium seed germination can be quite erratic. Most of the Capsicum seeds should germinate between 12 and 24 days after sowing.
Time To Harvest
The first Purple Beauty Capsicums of the season can be harvested in as little as 10 to 11 weeks. Like all Capsicums, you can also harvest when green but they'll be slightly more bitter and less sweet. Harvesting the Capsicum fruits as soon as they are ready will encourage the Capsicum bushes to produce more flowers.
